Adventure Training

In The Great Adventure, we believe that volunteer training and equipping is mission critical and should begin on your very first day of serving.  We want you to begin your volunteer journey knowing:

  • Why & how we do children’s ministry
  • God’s vision for children’s ministry
  • What you can expect from us as a staff team
  • What we expect from you as a volunteer

Below are the materials we use to equip & empower each and every volunteer.  So, once you’ve 1) completed your volunteer application; 2) had your photo taken for your volunteer badge; and 3) completed Adventure Training 101, you become a full-fledged representative of Jesus to each an every family and child who comes through our doors.  Matthew 18 :5 says it all:  “. . . anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me . . .”
